Cheesy Garlic Bread

Ingredients:                                                                                                                                                                   Serving: 2

Cheese, grated – 1 cup (mozzarella / cheddar)                                                                                                    Cooking time: 15-20 minutes
Bread – 3 slices (Cut the edges if you desire)
Garlic cloves – 4
Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup (Finely Chopped)
Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
Salt – 1 teaspoon or to taste
Black pepper powder – as per taste

Procedure:

  1. Blend the garlic cloves, coriander leaves, salt and olive oil into a smooth paste.
  2. Apply this paste on one side of the bread slices and wrap these slices in an aluminum foil.
  3. Now, place these wrapped bread slices in an oven that’s preheated to 200 °C (400 °F). Bake for 10 mins.
  4. After 10 minutes, remove them from the oven and transfer the bread slices onto a baking tray. Now, spread the cheese generously over the bread and sprinkle pepper over them.
  5. Now, place them again in the oven at 200 °C (400 °F) for another 10 minutes or until the cheese melts and a brown crust is formed.
  6. Remove from oven and relish this as a snack or side with pasta or pizza.

Variations

You may also add your choice of fresh veggies to make it healthier.
