Baked Potato Fries

Serves: 2 Cooking time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

Potatoes – 1 cup (cut into long strips)
Pepper – to taste
Salt – to taste
Oil spray

Procedure:

  1. Blanch the potatoes in boiling water (add pinch of salt to water) for about 2-3 minutes until the potatoes cook slightly. Drain the water and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  2. Take a baking plate and cover with aluminum foil. Spray oil over the foil so that the potatoes do not stick.
  3. Spread the potatoes over the baking sheet and spray oil over them, if desired.
  4. Place them in an oven pre-heated  to 200° C for about 10 minutes or until a nice browning appears on the potatoes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle some pepper and salt.
