Serves: 2 |
Cooking time: 30 mins |
Ingredients:
Spaghetti – 1 cup (broken into bite size pieces)
Milk – ¼ cup
Water – 3 cups
Sugar/jaggery – ¾ cup (I used jaggery)
Green cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Ghee/clarified butter – 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts, raisins – to garnish
Procedure:
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the spaghetti. You will see that they turn into light brown color in about 3-4 minutes. Check the picture attached.
- Then add the water and let it cook till the water disappears and spaghetti is soft and edible.
- Add the milk, jaggery and cardamom powder and cook till the pan becomes dry and moisture evaporates.
- Remove from heat and top with nuts of your choice.
Note: The spaghetti may take some time to cook till soft. It took me about 15 minutes.
Very creative recipe…..
🙂
Kesari using spaghetti, awesome:)
This was my first try, I was surprised that it actually came well. Just make sure you cook the spaghetti very well before adding sugar.
